About the Role:

As a Finance Data Validation and Democratisation Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our client's data transformation journey. Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Validation: Lead efforts to validate financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Data Democratisation: Develop and implement strategies that enhance data accessibility across the organization, empowering teams with reliable and timely financial information.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and business units to understand data needs, ensure alignment with business objectives, and facilitate seamless data integration.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in data handling processes and propose solutions to enhance data quality and usability.
  • Reporting & Insights: Generate reports and insights that provide clear visibility into data quality metrics, helping to drive informed decision-making.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with project teams on data-related initiatives, providing expertise on data validation, governance, and democratization processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector, with a strong focus on data validation and democratization.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CFA) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management tools and platforms, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with finance systems is desirable.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
