Overview:
We are seeking skilled Class 1 HGV Driver's to join our team for our Client in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Containers or carrying out the delivery of general haulage across the UK, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Duties:
- Drive Class 1 HGV in a safe manner
- Transport containers or general haulage across the UK or locally.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before and after each shift
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods
- Comply with HGV driving rules and regulations
- Report and communicate any issues or delays efficiently and effectively to your line manager.
Qualifications:
- 1+ Year Class 1 HGV CAT C+E experience
- Valid CPC and Tachograph Card
- Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
- No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
- Dock / Port Card
