Assistant Block Manager

Next Chapter Talent have partnered with a well-established & respected property management specialist in their search for an Assistant Block Manager to join their esteemed team based locally to the Maida Vale area.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious Assistant Block Manager with a solid 12 months + of experience who is eager to step up and progress into a Block Manager role quickly.

Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive support with:

  • Delivering an exemplary Property Management service, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience through multiple communication channels.
  • Continuously monitor services in line with the service level agreements in place.
  • Safeguard adherence to Health & Safety regulations across all sites.
  • Work to develop budgets and oversee the gathering of service charges to finance essential projects (collaborating with the in-house finance teams as & when needed)
  • Working in conjunction with maintenance teams to guarantee the efficient and accurate processing of insurance claims.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify the overall condition of all buildings.
  • Carry out Annual General Meetings & Directors meetings.
  • Pro-actively explore avenues to improve the overall performance of your portfolio.

Requirements:

  • An eagerness to learn and professionally develop
  • Demonstrated experience in block management with some understanding of long leasehold and relevant legislation
  • Dedicated to obtaining industry qualifications
  • Outstanding communication and written skills
  • Proficient in basic computer packages, coupled with strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Keen attention to detail with a proactive mindset
  • Be commercially aware and have a basic understanding of budgetary and financial factors in the market
  • You will have 1+ years experience working within a Block Management setting
