THE COMPANY

You will be working in the Risk Analytics function of the bank across the product offerings in personal finance. This company is a trailblazer in the financial landscape offering an array of personalised and innovative solutions. As a trusted partner in the financial space this company dedicates its time to empowering individuals with tailored services catering to customers unique needs.

THE ROLE

  • Develop and maintain in-depth expertise of decision system engines, including understanding limitations and associated governance.
  • Acquire strong knowledge of risk strategies across various company portfolios.
  • Implement changes within multi-bureau hubs, encompassing tasks such as requirements gathering, change management with credit reference agencies, development, testing, implementation, post-implementation monitoring, communication, and documentation.
  • Implement application and scoring strategies/policies within decision engine systems, including Scorecard Admin.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to ensure all risk and implementation aspects are addressed and delivered, such as in project deliveries.
  • Maintain validation of exception reports for decision engine monitoring, ensuring any changes are communicated, when possible, before implementation to the team responsible for monitoring logic.
  • Ensure that all changes implemented into the system adhere to relevant control and governance programs.
  • Promote knowledge sharing within the Risk Implementation Team to support business continuity.
  • Ensure continuous operation of links to credit bureaus.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
  • Strong Excel, SAS, and SQL skills.
  • Strong understanding of Risk Decision Systems.
  • Experience working with Credit bureau data.
  • Experience with Decision systems such as Probe, Strategy Manager, Triad, Provenir etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
