Process Coach Networks

We are looking for a Process Coach ( Network ) to join Thames Water on a permanent basis.The Process Coach's role is to develop and deliver the company's Licence to Operate (LTO) programme, which demonstrates the competency of internal and third-party staff working on the clean water networks, including Repair and Maintenance (R&M) teams. Coaches articulate and demonstrate high standards of operational excellence within front-line operational teams through developing, delivering, and assessing competency for individuals, teams, and regions in line with the Thames Water values, policies and procedures.

  • 36 hours per week Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
  • We are offering a starting salary from £44,680
  • This role also comes with a car allowance on top of your basic pay
  • Base location – South East London, to be discussed at interview stage which base location will suit you best
  • This is a hybrid role that will involve working in the Field, office and home

What you'll be doing as a Process Coach (Networks)

  • Coordinating and delivering training, coaching, competency assessment, and task observations with network personnel and their managers in line with the LTO process.
  • Developing personalised competency plans for people working on Water Networks, ensuring their learning material is updated and relevant, ensuring all personnel have the same journey.
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance against the LTO plan and guiding initiatives for the development of the LTO as necessary.
  • Driving engagement with Licence to Operate programme and managing expectations by acting upon feedback and raising issues.
  • Utilising company and industry standards to develop individual competency plans.
  • Monitoring and reporting the delivery of competency plans, by creating exercises to identify learning gaps to enable individuals to continuously maintain their licence to operate.

What should you bring to the role?

  • Due to the nature of the role a Full UK Driving licence is required
  • Experience within the water network or repair and maintenance environment
  • Experience in mentoring/coaching/assessing
  • Great training, coaching, and assessing skills
  • Internal quality assurance experience is desirable but not essential
