Co-ordination Support Officer
- Hourly Pay: £12.59 PAYE / £14.13 Umbrella
- Location: Wakefield (WF1 postcode)
- Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week, 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday
We are seeking a Co-ordination Support Officer to provide an effective and high-quality business support service to operational managers and staff within Integrated Care. The ideal candidate will support both qualified and non-qualified social workers and care coordinators, liaise with key stakeholders, and ensure the highest standards of customer care.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver a high-quality business support service to operational staff and team managers.
- Act as a first point of contact for the team, handling enquiries and requests for information.
- Assist in sourcing appropriate respite, placements, and care provision for service users.
- Liaise with service users, family members, and professionals regarding care provision.
- Process information, complete relevant returns, and handle referral forms to agencies.
- Support operational teams with information from other agencies, including hospital discharge and medical information.
- Signpost the public and professionals to relevant information and services.
- Deal with payment queries and provide a range of administrative tasks.
- Maintain effective communication systems and treat customers with respect.
- Administer financial tasks, process invoices, and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Arrange meetings, prepare documents, and produce minutes.
- Ensure accurate data recording and support the operation of electronic systems.
- Provide reports as required and support organisational developments.
- Identify and implement new systems and processes for improved efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in a busy administrative office environment.
- Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential enquiries.
- Knowledge of data protection, confidentiality, and information security.
- Experience working with sensitive information relating to adult social care (desirable).
- Experience in multi-agency working (desirable).
- Understanding of the functions and responsibilities of Adult Social Care (desirable).
