International SOS is currently recruiting an Operations Specialist to join its team of Medical, Security and Logistics experts based in London, Chiswick:

Key responsibilities

Operations Specialists duties:

-Demonstrate a caring attitude when answering queries with the objective of exceeding expectations
-Coordinate cases effectively by booking appointments, authorizing treatments or handling policy claims using professionalism and care
-Assess situations, co-ordinate medical care and communicate logistics across the world
-Collaborate with a team of doctors, nurses, security and operations experts in a fast-paced environment.

About you

In order to be successful as an Operations Specialist you will need:

-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
-Critical thinking and organisational skills to handle a variety of situations
-Naturally sympathetic with determination to help people
-The ability to take ownership of protecting data and process integrity
-Confidence in using Microsoft Office
-Experience as a Customer Service Executive in a contact centre or similar environment would be beneficial
-Educated to A' Level or Degree level with an interest in Healthcare, World Politics or International Security is preferred
