As the business continues to grow, they are hiring in to a new Group FC position to support the group FD in a commercially focused position, and one to provide succession planning longer term. Your New Role As Group Financial Controller:

Part of the Senior Leadership Team, in a newly established role, you will support the FD in establishing process and procedure across the finance function for a range of business units. Whilst leading on commercial analysis, you shall support stakeholders and take responsibility for the Month-end routine, whilst managing a team of talented finance professionals. A varied role, where your input will reach all levels of the group, this position will also support new business acquisitions, and remains a focused to ensure effective succession planning longer term.

This is a unique opportunity in a fast paced, commercial set of businesses. Adding commercial value, through stakeholder engagement, you shall look to enhance the detail and financial reporting, providing analysis across various areas of the business whilst also improving process and procedures. A hands-on role, you will be supported by a talented leadership team, and have the opportunity to make a real difference to outputs within the department, as well as bottom line numbers through efficiencies.

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:

Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA you shall be able to demonstrate solid commercial acumen. With a strong technical skillset, you shall also be an effective communicator, and able to influence others across various areas of a business. Having already operated in a senior finance role role, ideally with manufacturing, you shall have a proven track record of improving a finance function and be prepared to roll up your sleeves in a varied, challenging role. An office based position, you will have the ability to support stakeholders, and have the gravitas to see through change. A "doer" and someone who is able to drive efficiencies, you shall also have staff management experience and be looking to develop into an FD position longer-term if not already at that point.
