Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire finance function
- Producing monthly management accounts, KPIs, and other financial reports
- Ensuring compliance with ICAEW and other regulatory requirements
- Providing commercial support to teams across all offices
- Managing facilities, IT, and HR
- Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers
- Overseeing the sales ledger, including direct debit collections and credit control
- Managing expenses and disbursements for the firm
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Continuously developing internal systems and the practice database
- Supporting ad hoc projects and contributing to the firm's growth
The Ideal Candidate:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, with training in Practice
- At least 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Proficiency in Xero software
- A positive, ‘can-do' attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in report writing
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
- A valid driving license
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8 hours per day between 8:00am and 6:00 pm (with an unpaid break of at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours)
- Friday: 5.5 hours between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm
