The Role
In this role you will take on class teaching responsibility for a class of 8 - 10 children in either the Primary or Nursery site. All pupils have moderate to severe learning disabilities and will need a teacher who can adapt activities and learning to their needs.
The school are open to applications from teachers with previous experience teaching within a special needs school and qualified primary teachers looking to move in to teaching within a special needs classroom.
This is a SEN Primary School and is easily accessible by car, with good local transport links. The school is rated ‘good' by Ofsted and prides itself on ensuring all pupils are fully supported to becoming confident learners through a rounded and exciting curriculum. Pupils in the school are well behaved and engaged in learning and there is a strong culture of Inclusion and Integration.
This role will be offered on a temp to perm basis and will be paid to scale from day 1 of the contract.
