Our client is a leading manufacturer that is making a huge investment in the factory over the next 2 years. Due to this growth they are looking to expand with an extra Electrically Biased Engineer to assist with further works and minimise downtime.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services
  • Fixing production machinery, mixers, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, automation & controls, PLC's, SCADA Systems, robots and more
  • Supporting the engineering shift managers with project work - new machine & production line installs
  • PPM's, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
  • PLC - electrical fault finding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must have strong electrical fault finding
  • Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with mechanical & electrical qualifications
  • Must have previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
  • Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
  • PLC - electrical fault finding
  • Experience of carrying out project work and new machinery installations
  • Experienced in planning & scheduling PPM work
  • Ensure H&S is adhered to
