The Company:
Henderson Brown Procurement & Supply Chain team are working with a leading FMCG supplier to hire a Inventory Manager.
This company specialises in FMCG products and known for its high-quality and sustainable products which are supplied to many major retailers.
The Inventory Manager will be managing team and liaising with multiple retail / suppliers' stakeholders.
They will head up inventory function and be accountable to optimise inbound planning, physical storage of all materials, site waste, and driving the packaging department to meet customer specifications and demand.
This role is based in the Bedfordshire area with an office setup of on-site 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the site's operational strategy.
- Drive best in class on product quality, waste, and auditing.
- Contribute to operational CI plans.
- Management and development of up to 6 direct reports.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Managed direct report
- Confident communicator, presenter, and influencer
