Robert half are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a fast growing data services business to appoint an interim Finance Business Partner initially for 3 months with the opportunity to convert to permanent. As a Finance Business Partner you will be working closely with the Project Management team focusing on revenue and job costing analysis.
Remote working - Scotland based
Salary £55-65k DOE
Responsibilities:
- Analysing and reviewing project billing, revenue and profitability forecasting
- Conducting project reviews with Project Managers and updating project plans
- Investigating project plan variances and works with PMs to reconcile
- Assisting with monthly P&L reviews
- Verifying accuracy of POs and COs in CRM/ERP
- Working with PMs to generate client specific project reporting
- Assisting with preparing month-entries related to revenue and expense accruals and various other JE's as related to projects
- Other accounting tasks as needed related to projects
- Other duties assigned may include month-end and YE financial closing tasks
Requirements:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA etc)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with project accounting experience
- Experience with Sage Intaact and Sales Force is desirable
