Assistant Store Manager

Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager for a Client in the Bridgend area.

Permanent position.

Support the Store Manager, in overseeing all aspects of the store operations. Your leadership skills, organisational abilities and strong customer service focus will contribute to the success of the store.

Job role

  • Assist the Store Manager with the daily store operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
  • Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft and shrinkage.

Essential experience

  • Previous experience in a retail Assistant Management role.
  • Strong team skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette communication skills.
  • Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets.
  • Multilingual skills would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to supervise employees and provide guidance.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday/37 hours a week/8 hours a day.
