Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a coherent and balanced curriculum
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities and events
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field
- Demonstrable experience in teaching English at the secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire the same enthusiasm in your students
