Management Accountant - Milton Keynes area - £45,000 p.a.

This multi-site group are seeking a commercially focused finance professional who will thrive on partnering with their driven CFO and Head of Finance in building a 'best-in-class' finance function.
They are a well-respected group, who have a highly experienced, credible and commercially astute senior leadership team and, having recently acquired four related businesses, they have a clear vision and a rapid growth and improvement plan.
With this strong foothold in their sector, this business is well positioned for the next chapter in their story.
They aim to affect an extremely swift revamp of the Finance Department, bringing the outsourced functions in-house, and this Management Accountant role will be a new one within the team.
Working closely with their highly engaging and supportive Head of Finance, your role will involve all aspects of management accounting and business partnering and be pivotal in improving processes and systems as well as various projects.
The role will involve but not be limited to:
- Preparation of management accounts
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet control and reconciliations
- Variance, stock and site related performance analysis
- Fixed assets
Given the current set-up, you will need a pragmatic approach to the day-to-day requirements, and you will need a hands-on, can-do approach that you would expect within any start-up or turnaround scenario.
To be successful in this position, you must have a collaborative style and be comfortable working in an environment where no two days will be the same, as well as having the ability to work to tight deadlines.

- Strong IT skills including excel
- Ability to communicate financial information to the wider business
- Solid experience within management accounting and financial analysis
- Embrace change and process/systems improvements
- Able to work to tight deadlines
