Accounts Assistant
Temp to Perm
We are working with our client who are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join them on a temp to perm basis. (Immediate start available).
The role :
- Checking purchase invoices that have been entered on to Sage 50 Accounts
- Logging payments for GBP, USD and Euro currencies from bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Monthly bank reconciliations including foreign accounts for approximately 10 accounts
- Completion of Insurance declarations on a monthly/yearly basis
- Sharing responsibility for sales invoicing
- Sharing responsibility for passing haulage invoices for payment
- Filing of invoices, statements and other paperwork
Requirements:
- Strong IT, maths, and written/verbal communication skills
- Previous PL, SL or accounts experience would be desirable
- Use of and good understanding of Sage Accounts packages desirable
- Willingness to take on new tasks and learn
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload
- The ability to work under pressure
- Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
