Finance Analyst
- Annual Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Reed Accountancy, are working with a growing manufacturing client in search of a Finance Cost Analyst to join their Finance team in Southampton. This role is critical to the success of our new product implementations and growth plans. The Finance Cost Analyst will undertake management accounting, analysis, and reporting tasks for our UK R&D and manufacturing subsidiary.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct product cost estimating, tracking, and variance analysis, including during the new product introduction process.
- Perform inventory reconciliation, reporting, and analysis, including provisioning and annual stock take.
- Provide business partnering support to the Operations function.
- Review and challenge overhead cost performance of the Operations function.
- Analyse investments for new products and significant capital projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong data analysis and presentational skills.
- Ability to interact cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with Operational leaders.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing organisation is preferable.
- 1-3 years' experience in a management/cost accounting role is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field.
