At Adaptable Recruitment we have an Exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Systems Administrator to join a longstanding well established company in the Liverpool area were you would be part of a supportive team with a great culture.

Package: £32,000 to £37,000 Depending ob experience
Holidays: 30 days + bank holidays
Location: Liverpool - Hybrid Working Available

Main Responsibilities to include:

  • As a Finance Systems Administrator, you will be entrusted with decision-making, advising stakeholders, evaluating processes, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Finance System maintenance and support.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day system support and administration tasks, ensuring adherence to SLAs and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Lead initial troubleshooting efforts to investigate system issues, exercising judgement to resolve or escalate as necessary.
  • Responsible for system related month and year end tasks, collaborating closely with the Financial Planning and Reporting team.
  • Assume responsibility for setting up user access and permissions in alignment with Financial Regulations.
  • Support the Finance Systems Manager in the development, maintenance, and administration of OneFinance forms and business processes, this will include, the scoping of requirements, testing and review.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Group Chart of Accounts to enable you to support the Finance Systems Manager and the Financial Planning team in enacting changes and completing checks for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist the Financial Planning team with the administration of budget and forecast module and ledgers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of maintaining and developing systems
  • Experience of being first point of contact of systems support helpdesk
  • Knowledge of underpinning technical infrastructure of Finance Systems and how accounts are compiled
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Advanced knowledge of BI reporting including ETLs, SQL and Data Warehouse Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in system administration and support; covering tasks such as user management, system monitoring, and security administration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting system (important) issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Experience with system testing, upgrades, and implementation of process enhancements.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating with colleagues to drive system and process improvements.
  • Ability to identify training needs and develop relevant content to address skill gaps effectively.
