TEACHER OF MFL (SPANISH AND FRENCH)

This School is an Ofsted rated outstanding and over-subscribed comprehensive all boys school with a mixed sixth form. In the historic and picturesque market town of Hitchin in North Hertfordshire it is conveniently located 25 minutes from London by train and close to the A1(M) and M1.
The MFL department comprises six well-resourced specialist language rooms, each with its own high quality listening facilities and interactive whiteboard. The successful candidate will have a passion for language learning and the ability to motivate all students and bring new ideas as the school builds on its excellent status. The appointment would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT as the school provides a thorough and successful training programme.
MFL teacher contract:
- MFL teacher will teach at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A level
- Supportive team and a strong leader
- Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment
- Supportive yet high-energy atmosphere
- This is a full-time position including planning and marking
The right MFL teacher will be:
- Hold a teaching qualification relating to MFL
- Confident with teaching GCSE
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
The successful MFL teacher will have the following:
- Teaching qualification
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- Salary paid to scale - £153 - £239 per day
