Team Manager - Early Help Autism

Aim of Barnardo's Early Help Autism Service (EHA)

To work collaborativelywithEarlyHelppractitioners in delivering on the actions of the family's EarlyHelp plan, with a specific focus on autism

To support families with a child who has autism at an earlyintervention and preventative level; ensuring their development and wellbeing are supported.

To offer group work programmes to parents with children withautism

To support the development of knowledge and skills in the workforce on issues related to children withautism and their families.

To support the EarlyHelp service with engaging families in earlyintervention and preventative work, offering good practice guidance related to autism.

To attend EarlyHelpallocations meetings to supportwith advice and guidance on cases that are coming into the localities and provide specialist advise on cases where autism is a need.

Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 31 March 2025 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band - this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.?
