Join this dynamic team in a hybrid Business Development and Account Management role. This role will be a mixture of account managing key clients (40% of the role) whilst developing business with new clients (60% of the role). A great move if you are currently in an account management position and keen to develop your business development skillset.

This is a full time, permanent position. The working hours are 34 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 09.00 - 5.00 pm and Friday 09.00 - 3.00 pm.

Bristol based role.

The salary on offer is circa £40,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus £7,000 car allowance. Holidays are 28 days plus Bank Holidays (3 days to be reserved for the Christmas period). A statutory pension is on offer. Benefits include, free onsite parking, cycle to work scheme, tech and home scheme.

Role Overview:

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities as well as account managing key clients. Your primary focus will be on selling packaging solutions to a range of clients across various sectors and looking after client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the diverse products and services to effectively advise and engage clients.
  • Grow sales of glass packaging, identify key decision-makers and crucial buying criteria within target client organisations.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential customers, nurturing them into valued clients.
  • Account manage key clients, problem solving and ensuring growth of key clients
  • Identify new opportunities through networking and market intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Experience in client account management, and ideally previous sales/ business development
  • Experience in developing sustainable solutions aligned with environmental considerations is desirable
  • Proficiency in selling or account management within glass packaging, preferably in the health, beauty, cosmetic, and candle glass sectors is preferred, otherwise a genuine interest in this area.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and tech (MS Office) skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented, self-motivated mindset.
  • A growth-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering excellence.
