Kitchen Assistant Wanted - Primary School
Are you passionate about working in a school environment and making sure children receive nutritious meals every day? We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team in a local primary school.
Role Details:
- Hourly rate: £13 per hour
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4-6 hours per day (during the school day)
- Start date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking food for the children
- Serving meals to students
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area at the end of service
- Assisting with general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in Food Safety, Food Hygiene, or an equivalent certification
- Previous experience working in a school environment is beneficial but not essential
- A valid Enhanced Child DBS certificate
- References from previous employers
