Accounts Assistant

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by an expanding forward thinking organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a good all-rounder who would like to be part of a small friendly team.

The main duties:

  • Allocating daily customer payments
  • Credit Control duties
  • Bookkeeping duties
  • Accounts payable, duties
  • Supplier reconciliations, supplier payments
  • Assist with internal reporting
  • General finance/office administration
  • Ad hoc ordering (stationery, office supplies, packaging)
  • Petty cash
  • Liaise with external IT support

Requirements:

  • Purchase and sales ledger experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Xero experience would be an advantage
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Team player
