Jackson Hogg are working with a Private Equity backed business that deliver advanced point-of-sale (POS) systems and enterprise solutions.

This position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work as deputy to the CFO and gain significant experience commercially and to the world of private equity.

You'll be stepping into a role where you'll make an impact, fast.

You'll play an integral part in rolling out a new Business Intelligence tool, giving the business the insights it needs to grow.

Coordinating the annual budget process? That's you, working side by side with non-financial stakeholders to ensure alignment. But that's just the beginning. You'll be the driver behind projects that deliver real cost savings, tracking those benefits every step of the way.

Improving financial processes? You won't just improve them—you'll reinvent how they work. You'll lead an ERP and systems change project, shaping the future of our operations.

Day-to-day finance team running? That's in your hands too. Working capital and cash flow? You'll own it.

Monthly management accounts? You'll ensure they're not only timely but accurate.

Reporting requirements for regulators, including HMRC? Not a problem, you'll have that covered. And when it comes to the year-end audit, you'll be the go-to, managing the process and being the principal contact for external auditors.

Essential bits:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
  • Exposure to a private equity backed environment
  • Advanced analytical skills including Excel and ideally SQL

You will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify challenges and create effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. You'll be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude, even under pressure, and be a strong team player who can also work independently and take initiative.

With a keen attention to detail, you'll ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, from financial reporting to process optimisation.

This role offers a salary of up to £70,000 plus benefits and a flexible/hybrid working pattern.
