Job Title: Private Client Legal Secretary
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Location: Margate
An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in East Kent. We are seeking a highly motivated and career driven Legal Secretary to join a busy Private Client team. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable team while being given the framework to develop your own career.
Duties include:
- Providing full secretarial support to one fee earner
- Diary management
- Onboarding new clients and carrying out KYC checks
- Preparing letters and emails
- Digital dictation
- Billing
- Initial drafting of basic wills and LPAs
- Dealing with correspondence and ensuring all correspondence and documents are accurately filed in the case management system
The successful candidate will have:
- Commercial experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Private Client practice
- Basic understanding and application of Wills and Probate Laws
- Previous experience with Legal software packages and/or case management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Package:
- £24,000 - £26,000
