Your duties as the Year 1 SEN Class Teacher
As part of your new role, you will be required to:
- Tailor your lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs. Consider individualised approaches for students with special needs.
- Provide additional support to SEN students, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Modify teaching materials, assessments, and activities to meet the needs of SEN students
- Regularly observe and document student progress, noting any specific challenges or achievements.
- Implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere.
What you will need
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Evidence of good/outstanding school experience placements/observations
