The business itself are a supplier of solidboard solutions across the UK and they are looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the Midlands/South of the UK
Business Development Manager
Home/Office Based (Midlands/South UK)
£45,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus
Car allowance (£6000 per annum), 25 days holiday plus bank, life insurance 2x salary, 4% pension, private medical, phone, laptop, and sick pay.
Responsibilities include:
- You will have a proven experience in developing and winning new business in the UK.
- Generating new leads and following the full sales process through from cradle to grave.
- Manage, nurture accounts, and build on your successes.
- You will be driven to succeed and will also have the ability to work with a highly effective sales support team in order to maximise the service of the company.
- Able to manage your time and diary effectively to achieve set KPI's.
- You will be working with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
- Taking ownership of exploring and utilising insights from the customer Supply Chains to highlight opportunities, risks and demands.
- Ideally you will have a good knowledge of various markets and have a good contact list to grow a separate market to their norm.
Essential/Desirable:
- Experience in packaging and developing new business.
- You must have experience in the packaging industry – Ideally folded/luxury boxes, but other areas will be considered.
- Experience in the above markets mentioned.
- 2- 5+ years' experience required in the packaging industry.
- A proven track record in sales and delivering a quality service.
- Advanced knowledge of CRM and other complex systems
- Strong presentation skills.
- The ability to negotiate with key stakeholders.
