FINANCE ASSISTANT
NEAR SKELMERSDALE – FULLY OFFICE BASED
£25,000 - £28,000 DOE
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
We are working with an established, family owned business near Skelmersdale, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team. The main focus of this role is to support the day-to-day runnings within the finance department.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Overseeing sales ledger and purchase ledger duties
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Updating transactional finance reports and trackers to ensure invoices are processed efficiently and accurately
- Calculating tax returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations - accruals/prepayments
- Supporting with credit control processes
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Be AAT Level 3 qualified / working towards
- Have experience using Sage 50
- Be competent using MS Excel
- Have strong communication skills, and high attention to detail
