Adept are excited to be working with a well-established heavy engineering manufacturer working across several key sectors in Sheffield including construction, MOD, Rail and nuclear. Due to expansion and business needs they have a requirement for a CNC Horizontal Borer in their machine shop in Sheffield.
Either days regular 6am - 4pm Monday to Thursdays OR Nights regular working 8pm - 6am Monday - Thursday.
Experience in working on vertical borers is essential in addition to the following responsibilities:
- Experience of working as a CNC Horizontal Borer on vertical machines
- Knowledge of Heidenhain
- Working on small batch jobs
- Working on large components
- Knowledge of self-inspection
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- Basic Programming knowledge i.e., linear movements
