Reporting to: Finance Manager
Contract/Hours: Permanent 37.5 hours per week
The ONE Group are delighted to engage with a consultancy business based in Bedford who have promoted their current management accountant internally and are now on a look out for an up and coming Management Accountant.
You will work closely and supporting the Financial Controller with delivering the Month end close process, assisting with the year-end audit, producing the management accounts, reporting and support the year-end statutory accounting. There will be a commercial aspect to the role where you will support with financial planning and partner with key stakeholders to ensure costs are in line with the agreed Budget.
Your Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Financial Controller to produce monthly Management accounts within 15 working days of the month end including variance analysis with commentary.
- Preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments and overseeing all P&L accounts
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
- Involvement in the preparation of quarterly VAT return
- Maintenance of the cash-flow forecast on a daily basis.
- Coordinate and maintain Inter-company recharges and transactions.
- Assisting with year end and statutory accounts
- Support other members of the team when required.
- Duties, responsibilities may be adjusted or added as needed to meet the needs of the organisation.

Your profile:
- Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA or Qualified by experience.
- Management Accountant with strong accruals, prepayments and reconciliations experience.
- Confident, Collaborative and committed
