Housing Team Administrator - 6 months FTC

We have a new opportunity for a full time Housing Team Administrator to join our Housing team based in Sidcup.

This is a 6 months fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

Reporting to the Group Housing Services Manager, you will provide an efficient, effective, and versatile secretarial and administrative support service to the Housing directorate, ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance.

  • Undertake all aspects of diary, meeting, and activity management.
  • Support the Housing directorate by preparing & collating documents for meetings and arranging, attending, and minuting meetings as required. Also, co-ordinate the achievement of action points for the Housing team.
  • Manage and monitor various operational and compliance tasks such as chasing and managing repairs feedback forms, adding cost to work orders, maintaining an Approved Contractors List, and arranging site visits for H&S contractors.
  • Oversee the collection, organisation, and distribution of data across various platforms (e.g. Teams, SharePoint), and creating and maintaining appropriate data folders.
  • Assist in the development, collation and distribution of a range of documents including board and statistical reports, letters, contract administration, and proofreading reports.
  • Update the intranet and manage the administration of training booking and organising.
  • Handle administration of H&S audits, enforcement notices – managing plans, actions, and regular updates.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Housing directorate including scanning, uploading and filing of documents.
  • Develop and maintain databases, including records of statutory checks and leases.
