Aspire People are an established education agency who are looking to recruit an experienced School Science Technician to work within a Secondary School in Coventry.
The role is 5 days a week full time.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced School Science Technician to share their knowledge and expertise in order to help drive the science department forward.
Applicants must have a DBS issued within the last 12 months and signed up to the update service or be willing to pay £47.20 for a new DBS check that you can take to any education environment.
It is essential that you have relevant science technician experience and can carry out some of the following
duties:
- Supporting both students and science teachers throughout the day
- Setting up and using the equipment accurately and safely
- Take a proactive approach to work
- Organised and knowledge of the relevant health and safety regulations
- Able to manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment
- Ensure that equipment is properly cleaned and that chemicals and other materials are appropriately stored
