Job Title: Office Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Nr Shirley

Salary: up to £26,000 per annum plus bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join our client, an industry leader based in beautiful surroundings near Shirley. The successful candidate will be confident with a friendly and bubbly demeanour and experienced within a front of house setting as this role will be based on reception alongside another receptionist. As part of the role you will also provide support to the wider business including working on company projects, whilst delivering impeccable customer service at all times. Due to the location of our client the successful candidate will need a valid driving licence and access to their own transport.

Duties include:

  • Provide comprehensive reception coverage, greeting all clients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Ensure timely distribution of all incoming post, organise special deliveries, and handle all outgoing post efficiently.
  • Input and raise purchase orders and collate monthly invoices.
  • Arrange accommodation using online booking systems.
  • Manage and book office meeting rooms ensuring availability is keep up to date.
  • Update stock and supplies for kitchens.
  • Review and update company databases and excel spreadsheets to ensure accurate information is recorded.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider business.
  • Support with company projects.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a front of house role.
  • Excellent customer service and administration skills.
  • Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and teams.
  • Ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
