Document Controller / Administrator - About the role

My client work within a range of industry sectors, including the Oil and Gas, Renewables and Defence sectors and they are actively recruiting for Document Controller to join their growing team in their new satellite office in Essex.

The successful candidate will be working within a team of international co-workers with extensive experience of fuel and gas product solutions including some automation products.

Document Controller / Administrator - Key duties

Keep accurate records of all documents.

Working with the project teams and clients to build and maintain master document lists.

Distribute documents to the relevant project team members/clients, ensuring they have the correct documents in a timely manner.

Ensure consistency of document submissions in adherence to the project document control procedures.

Maintaining project document lists.

To comply with client documentation requirements.

Administrative support to the team when required.

Document Controller / Administrator - Key requirements

A self-motivated person with experience in document controlling or administration as well as the ability to be able to plan and multitask. An eye for detail is also must. The individual will have great communication skills when dealing directly with the customers daily and works well within a team of multi-national co-workers.

  • Past experience as a document controller is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Internet and Emails.
  • Experience in using Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual requiring minimal supervision
  • Ability to be able to understand and maintain documents and file structures.
