We havea fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our board games business in Bordon, Hampshire. The individual will work in a varied role helping to ensure that the company has the best products at the right time and at the correct price for our customers and Sales team.
What does this role involve?
- Ordering product from suppliers
- Maintain supplier relationships globally
- Attend Trade shows / supplier visits as necessary
- Work with QA specialist on product compliance & relevant safety standards
- Review product stock holdings and turn rate
- Working alongside the buyers to restock larger accounts
- Create weekly reports and prepare department data
- Prepare and review product pricing (domestic and international)
- Work with other departments and coordinate multiple aspects in the running of the business
- Respond to changing priorities and achieve tasks quickly and efficiently.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust with suppliers. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to multi-task as well as be proactive with a flexible approach to changing demands and priorities.
Ideally you will also be a team player with a positive outlook and have previous experience working with Excel and the complete Microsoft Office suite.
