Your new company
A Worcester-based organisation that offers a variety of services in the local area is requiring temporary support in their HR function, to start immediately for approximately 1-3 months whilst permanent recruitment takes place.
Your new role
This is a full-time, 40 hours a week role, working Monday to Friday in the Worcester office. This is a key position in the business that encompasses core HR generalist duties revolving around recruitment, employee relations and payroll support. Duties are, but not limited to:
- Ensuring current and upcoming recruitment plans are in place, following consulting with managers to ensure the requirements are accurate
- Coordinating the entire recruitment function for the business, including advertising and keeping line managers and directors up to date
- Vetting and onboarding processes, to meet company policies and legal regulations
- Producing monthly Business Unit Reports
- Take responsibility for all core HR areas including Payroll, Employee Relations, HR Administration and Employee Engagement
- Ensure employment law, HR Police and ACAS Codes of conduct are continuously followed across the business
- Support the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team with any/all HR incentives
- Provide process improvement and continuous development plans for the SLT.
- This position requires an immediate start and will be subject to a completed enhanced DBS.
What you'll need to succeed
A proven background in recruitment and HR to include the tasks above and, ideally, you will be CIPD level 3 qualified. However, equivalent experience will be considered. Key areas of expertise must include recruitment and employee relations, and you must be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
