HR Advisor

We have a very exciting new HR Advisor role working for our North Bristol client.

Reporting into the HR Business Partner duties will include:

Responsibilities

  • Handling a variety of HR related queries, providing commercial and pragmatic HR advice
  • Developing strong business relationships with stakeholders, supporting and coaching as required
  • Managing a range of ER cases e.g. wellbeing, absence management, contract queries, disciplinaries, grievances, capability, redundancy/restructuring, family friendly policies etc.
  • Facilitating training sessions to upskill managers
  • Helping to embed company values
  • Contributing to ad hoc HR projects as required.
  • Reviewing policies, making recommendations for improvement
  • Creating, interpreting and monitoring HR metrics

The person

  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Confident in providing commercial and pragmatic HR advice
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Hands on, operational HR experience
  • Keeps up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice and trends
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player who is also comfortable working autonomously
  • Strong IT skills
  • UK driving licence

Salary

£30,000 - £35,000 plus excellent benefits
