Our client in Financial Services is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the Head of Procurement in achieving agreed objectives across mainly indirects categories.
Role Responsibilities:
- Analysis of procurement spend and supply base to establish suppliers per category
- Analysis of supply markets to identify potential suppliers and market trends
- Identification of internal and external cost drivers in the categories
- Preparation of tender documents
- Use procurement tools to develop and implement sourcing strategies including: RFI, RFP, RFQ, Analysis, etc.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience within a Procurement function
- Knowledge of procurement sourcing activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Experience of running RFI and RFP sourcing activities
- Experience of reviewing statements of work and other contract documents
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and experience
- Contract and supplier management experience
