Butler Rose is pleased to represent a leading accountancy firm in Cambridgeshire seeking an Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager. This role is responsible for delivering high quality audit & accounts preparation as well as tax compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small to large local businesses.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct high quality audits, prepare accounts, and manage tax compliance for a diverse client base
- Regularly visit client
- Communicate effectively with clients about their financial and business procedures
- Ensure working papers and files are complete and ready for associate and partner review
Personal Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year, post qualified ACA/ACCA with experience in practice
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and disclosures for small and medium-sized companies
- Proficiency in FRS 102-1a
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Experience in planning audit work and knowledge of ISAs
- Able to work well under pressure
- Experience mentoring and coaching staff
- Comfortable communicating with clients
