Job Description: I am looking for a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to inspire and educate students from Key Stage 3 & 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French lessons, preparing students for GCSE examinations, and contributing to the overall success of the Modern Foreign Languages department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of teaching strategies.
  • Support extracurricular activities and language clubs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in French or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching French at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Salary: The position offers a competitive salary in the range of M1 - UPS 3, dependent on experience and qualifications.
