I am seeking a conscientious and committed Accounts Administrator to join a finance and administration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including order processing, sales and purchase ledger management, and general office duties. This role is perfect for someone who is customer service oriented, proactive, and enjoys working in a team environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Take orders from customers and input them into the system.
  • Provide quotations and resolve order queries.
  • Produce customer invoices and process e-commerce orders.
  • Code and match invoices on the purchase ledger.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and handle supplier invoice queries.
  • Update the cashbook and oversee the accounts inbox.
  • Arrange couriers for e-commerce deliveries, check courier invoices, and raise queries if necessary.
  • Perform general office duties and provide holiday cover for other team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with sales ledger and purchase ledger.
  • Experience in a customer-facing/customer services role.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of sales order systems.
  • A cheerful and positive manner with comfortable teamwork skills.
  • Confidence to work independently and take the initiative to solve problems.
  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.
