Your new role

  • Develop and test regulatory controls.
  • Coordinate tasks across three lines of defence.
  • Manage Bank of England questionnaire responses.
  • Prepare reports for senior management.
  • Conduct CHAPS compliance analysis and implement controls.
  • Identify and document CHAPS-related risks.
  • Support the first line of defence in risk management.
  • Design and test control effectiveness.
  • Assist with CHAPS Quarterly.
  • Stay updated on CHAPS manuals and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with CHAPS rules.
  • Liaise with auditors.
  • Participate in CHAPS projects and product development.
  • Escalate operational issues and payment queries.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Financial Services with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and CHAPS payment processing and global payment schemes.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT Payment Messages (MT and MX/ISO20022) is a plus.
  • Project management and risk control experience.
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty, FCA, and PRA regulations.
