Your new role
- Develop and test regulatory controls.
- Coordinate tasks across three lines of defence.
- Manage Bank of England questionnaire responses.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
- Conduct CHAPS compliance analysis and implement controls.
- Identify and document CHAPS-related risks.
- Support the first line of defence in risk management.
- Design and test control effectiveness.
- Assist with CHAPS Quarterly.
- Stay updated on CHAPS manuals and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with CHAPS rules.
- Liaise with auditors.
- Participate in CHAPS projects and product development.
- Escalate operational issues and payment queries.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Experience in Financial Services with a proven track record.
- Knowledge of SWIFT and CHAPS payment processing and global payment schemes.
- Familiarity with SWIFT Payment Messages (MT and MX/ISO20022) is a plus.
- Project management and risk control experience.
- Understanding of Consumer Duty, FCA, and PRA regulations.
