Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Door Entry

Area to be covered: South East London, Kent, Surrey and East Sussex

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 - £10,000 Uncapped Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager Door Entry will involve:

  • Selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured door entrance systems as well as access control, CCTV, and bio metrics
  • 50% of your time selling into electrical and security distributors
  • 50% stimulating demand with the security installers/ system integrators
  • 75% new business development role, who will expected to on-board new electrical and security distributors
  • 25% account managing circa 50 active electrical and security distributors
  • Reasonable for an area achieving approx. £450,000 without a dedicated field sales representative
  • Tasked with growing the area by 20%
  • Typical distribution accounts worth up to £50,000 per annum
  • New area created through splitting a larger patch due to company growth

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager Door Entry with:

  • Field sales experience from within either the door entry, access control or security sectors
  • Preferably from a manufacturer background, but open to distribution field sales experience
  • Proven track record of field based sales with technically orientated products
  • Relevant product experience with related systems such as: audio visual door entry systems, access control, CCTV, and bio metrics may be advantageous
  • Ideally experience of selling to electrical or security distributors
  • Experience selling security installers / system integrators not essential
  • Capable of both managing existing business and generating existing accounts
  • Solution based sales style with genuine interest it electric / mechanical products
  • Stable career track record and not a 'job hopper'
  • Results orientated and enthusiastic
  • A team player who is highly organised
