Senior Debt Management Officer

Our client is seeking a Specialist Account Manager to provide collection support and monitoring for a portion of their portfolios. This role supports the Assistant General Manager and National Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage receivables and control losses.
  • Work directly with franchisees and field management to control delinquency and net losses.
  • Resolve customer Payment issues.
  • Report and track net losses/delinquency to management.
  • Develop strong business relationships with sales management and franchise sales force.
  • Answer field and customer inquiries regarding the credit program and account status.
  • Recommend legal actions and follow up on necessary court actions.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate collection and repossession procedures.
  • Analyse business portfolios and formulate monthly action plans.
  • Develop presentations for field group and manager meetings.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify deficiencies.

Person Specification:

  • Degree in finance or 2-4 years of collections experience.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing, with positive attitudes and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
