Our client is seeking a Specialist Account Manager to provide collection support and monitoring for a portion of their portfolios. This role supports the Assistant General Manager and National Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage receivables and control losses.
- Work directly with franchisees and field management to control delinquency and net losses.
- Resolve customer Payment issues.
- Report and track net losses/delinquency to management.
- Develop strong business relationships with sales management and franchise sales force.
- Answer field and customer inquiries regarding the credit program and account status.
- Recommend legal actions and follow up on necessary court actions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate collection and repossession procedures.
- Analyse business portfolios and formulate monthly action plans.
- Develop presentations for field group and manager meetings.
- Conduct market analysis to identify deficiencies.
Person Specification:
- Degree in finance or 2-4 years of collections experience.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing, with positive attitudes and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills.
