As a Junior Finance Business Partner, you will support the Finance Business Partnering team in delivering insight, analysis, and financial guidance to various business units. You will work closely with operational managers to help monitor performance, control costs, and support strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional with an AAT qualification to develop commercial and analytical skills in a dynamic, business-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across departments.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
- Partner with operational teams to understand cost drivers and performance metrics.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support decision-making (e.g., profitability analysis, ROI).
- Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Maintain and improve Excel-based models and templates.
- Liaise with central finance functions (e.g., AP, AR) to resolve queries.
- Help ensure compliance with financial controls and procedures.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- AAT qualified (Level 3 or 4) or actively studying.
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas).
