Customer Service Advisor

Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor position for a dynamic and well-renowned insurance company in Romford, Essex.

The Customer Service Advisor will do the administration of clients' insurance requirements. You'll need to be comfortable speaking to people on the phone as there is a high level of calls coming through to the team.

Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in the Romford office and onsite for 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.
  • Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
  • Produce accurate and professional documentation at all times.
  • Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premiums.
  • Refer all queries that fall outside own experience, knowledge and authority to senior staff.
  • Re-marketing exercises.
  • Issuing renewal documentation.
  • Dealing with client payments in line with Howden procedures.
  • Data input.
  • Participating in meetings as and when required.

Experience required:

  • Customer service experience is required for this role dealing with high volume calls.
  • Administration experience is required for this role.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Good literacy and numeracy.
  • Good communication skills.

Location: Romford, Essex

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
