Cover Supervisor

Reed Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our supply pool for schools across South East London. This role is particularly suited for university students considering a career in teaching, offering a chance to gain valuable classroom experience.
Day to Day of the role:
- Be prepared to accept bookings by 7:15 AM and provide cover for absent teachers.
- Supervise and support a classroom of up to 30 students, ensuring they remain on task with pre-set work.
- Provide guidance and assistance to students as needed, fostering a productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have the right to work in the UK (this role does not offer sponsorship).
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check or have an updated DBS on the update service.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to education and student development.
