Job Summary:

They are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Channel Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new Channel Partners, initiating contact with potential partners and nurturing leads to drive sales growth. This role is crucial for expanding their Channel Partner base and supporting the overall sales strategy of the company. You will join a supportive team of 4, reporting directly to the Group Sales & Strategy Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect Identification: Research and identify potential partners through various channels, including online databases and social media.
  • Lead Generation: Initiate contact with prospective partners via phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce Their services.
  • High Outbound Activity: Engage in a significant amount of outbound calling to generate leads.
  • Qualification: Qualify the new Partner business requirements to determine the appropriate products and services to onboard, as well as training requirements, sales opportunities, and marketing activities.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and follow-up activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, including metrics on lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about their products and services, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in lead generation, telemarketing, or a sales-related role is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage potential clients effectively.
  • Product Knowledge: Previous experience selling VoIP/Hosted PBX, Connectivity & Mobile SIMs is preferred.
  • Proactive Attitude: Highly motivated, self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up activities simultaneously.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
