Beautiful offices near Liverpool Street

Up to £60k per annum

I am working with my client, a leading fintech insurance firm with over 10,000 employees globally, based in beautiful offices near main stations such as Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street.

They are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support their General Counsel and the Legal & Company Secretarial function at their international division headquarters. As a newly established legal function within the firm, this is a really exciting time to join and help shape the legal operations, whilst also gaining exposure to a wide range of legal and governance matters in a fintech environment, where your initiative is valued.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll be at the core of their Legal and Company Secretarial operations, offering vital legal and administrative support while also collaborating closely with the wider Company Secretarial team. The role will include:

Legal Support:

  • Manage legal agreements, contracts, and administrative systems
  • Coordinate travel, calendars, expenses, and department operations
  • Onboard external legal providers and manage invoicing
  • Conduct research on legal and compliance matters
  • Support ad hoc legal projects and team initiatives

Company Secretarial Support:

  • Maintain corporate records and registers (via Diligent Entities & SharePoint)
  • Manage KYC responses and regulatory filings
  • Help organize and support Board & Committee meetings
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Company Secretarial team

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Recent experience as a Legal EA/PA, Legal Assistant or Paralegal is essential in order to be considered for this role
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of your work
  • Confident communicator, professional, and personable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
